Monarch Campground is nestled below the historic Kicking Horse mineshafts and across the valley from the massive summits of Mount Stephen and Cathedral Mountain. The Kicking Horse River nearby provides excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. This area is perfectly located for travelers looking to explore the dense natural and human history in the area, and the mountain village of Field nearby.

Takakkaw Falls Campground is located at the top of Yoho Valley Road in Yoho National Park. This walk-in campground features spectacular panoramic views amid the roar of Takakkaw Falls. It is the gateway to the Little Yoho Valley & is the main trailhead for Laughing Falls, Twin Falls, Ice Line, Whaleback & Yoho Glacier Trails. It offers a unique sub-alpine wilderness experience, yet is easily accessible.
This campground operates from June to October on a first-come, first-served policy. You will need a National Park Pass to enter the campground.
Hoodoo Creek Campground sits on a sunny open meadow with stunning views of Mt. Hunter. Hikers can enjoy access to numerous popular hikes nearby including the historic Deer Lodge Warden Cabin, Wapta Falls, Mt Hunter Fire Lookout, and the Hoodoos trail overlooking the campground.
