Hey, it is been a when, has not it? I really do not think I’ve composed a site submit in a calendar year or so. I hope you’re all doing properly in these nuts instances. As generally, thanks for reading through.
I have a question: What is your beloved U.S. Countrywide Park?
About the past two years, I’ve fallen in love with them.
In advance of the pandemic, I experienced only visited a handful of them, generally by incident. But after the pandemic hit, and it was risk-free sufficient to street-journey, I drove all all around the place checking out them.
Now I have found 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.
1st, there was Redwood Countrywide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…
Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…
Then Utah, residence to some of the most effective countrywide parks in the region: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.
Immediately after Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Warm Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is where I dwell now.
Then there was Big Bend, Texas. The evening sky is incredible there! You can see so many stars.
Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…
And most not long ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.
I feel so fortunate that I have gotten to see so considerably of our attractive state in the previous handful of yrs.
When I was young, I centered only on global travel (this blog site isn’t known as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But above the previous two years, I’m happy to report that I’ve acquired a newfound appreciation for my very own yard.
It turns out you really don’t have to fly halfway close to the earth to go on an adventure.
As for my most loved? It’s a two-way tie between Redwood and Big Bend.
How many nationwide parks have you frequented? Do you have a preferred?
