2. Bridge To Nowhere

There are so many things to do in LA, including hiking! Built in 1936 amidst the vast expanse of the mountains and forests of California, lies a legendary structure, known as the Bridge to Nowhere. This iconic relic of the past has earned its name, seemingly leading off into nowhere, tucked away in a forgotten corner of the state. The story of the Bridge to Nowhere is one of mystery, adventure, and the forgotten dreams of a past era.

Today you can hike the 9.5-mile out-and-back trail to the bridge to nowhere. The route can be a bit challenging with multiple intersecting trails, washed-out areas, and over a half dozen stream crossings. So come prepared with proper waterproof footwear, trekking poles, and plenty of water and snacks.
